VKP Vápenice - rare flora
The meadow with an area of 0.2 ha lies on the Ještěd ridge and is part of the EVL Vápenice – Basa.
It is one of the most valuable localities in the region with lime-loving meadow and rock vegetation including Orchideaceae species - Orchis mascula subsp. Signifera, Origanum vulgare, Polygala vulgaris, Briza media, Anthylis vulneraria, Ajuga genevensis, etc.
We took over the care of the meadow in 2021 from ZO ČSOP Armillaria.
