MEADOW LOCATIONS

Our NGO takes care of the meadows in the Liberec region, which lie outside the network of small protected areas. In 2021, we took care of meadows with a total area of over 10 ha, in 2022 and 2023 we increased this area by another 9.5 ha. Care of the meadows consists mainly of mosaic-like manual mowing and removal of cut grass, removal of invasive plants by mowing, cutting of woody encroachments and restoration interventions such as digging out old growth or disturbing the grass sward.
